Technology has become a critical influence in mathematics. One thing I have found technology incredibly helpful with is differentiation. There are interactive websites that help students who need hands-on work. There are videos that students can listen to if they are more of an auditory learner. And also, there are online graphing calculators that allow me as a teacher to show an entire class at once how to use a certain function. I will always be using technology during my time teaching, so the fact that there are standards that will help guide my use is great.
